Same shit, different year.

Another total shambles in getting results out.

They usually get the results out fairly quickly for the nationals - this year I think there will be a delay, because a new guy is trying to use an old guys programme.
I don't think the pattern being slightly modified effected anyone. It was down before Sunday squads went on and was done to maintain the integrity of the tournament - so calm ya skin down.

Any patterns I make for the Nationals will always be provisional until I get a chance to put them on the surface and see how they play.
I released provisional patterns on Friday before the Nationals to give people an idea of what was planned. After testing on Saturday I tweaked the singles and doubles slightly to get the result I was after. It was not a big change. The team remained unchanged from the provisional.
After releasing the final set, these remain unchanged for all three weeks of the tournament.

And as for the delay in the results, Bash is correct, the scores output from the audit system needed to be converted to go online on the new site.

This is the BTBA's flagship tournament, and the results should not take more than a day to put up.

There can be no excuses.

Even small tournaments such as KOTH (madison or banbury) are able to release scores on the day. Although appreciated that there is a much higher volume of scoring to be considered, a flagship event such as this should ideally have in place a system to deal with this.

4 days is 3 days to long in my opinion.
