Another tournament announcement
top 12 teams play in round 2 not 20 as on entry form
And this is from the tournament chief executive officer - Jack Smith
To all bowlers in Scott Banks, as there only 22 teams entered for the tournament there will be changes to the format to accommodate the reduced amount of bowlers, these will be as follows:- Round 1 will stay the same, Round 2 men will be top 22 bowlers and Round 2 Ladies will be top 10 bowlers, there will be no round 3 for men. The Round robins will be top 8 Men and top 6 Ladies. Obviously the prize fund will be seriously reduced. I will publish the new prize fund on the day. I apologise for having to do this but hope you will understand the restriction such a low entry puts on the tournament.
